About Kevin Behr
I am a twenty-year veteran of Information Technology. I started out in field service (IT Ops) fixing broken mid-ranges, the occasional mainframe and moved on to network and system administration in the late eighties. I have held just about every IT ops and management job over the years. My broad familiarity with what goes on daily in enterprise IT shops and my wide exposure to literally hundreds of these operations has shaped my opinions and observations.
Having held CIO CTO posts for a global integrator, a public company, an E-Business outsourcer as well as turn-around, performance transformation and interim executive posts has provided me a unique experience perspective on how to build an IT organization that works effectively.
I am also a father of two amazing daughters, a musician (drums, guitar) and owner of grant street studios (every year I produce a few projects). I make my home in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. I am @kevinbehr on Twitter
